The Ball started out as a dream. Not the kind of hope or wish, but the kind that come to you in the night and fill your head with boundless possibilities.
The take on the old myth of Cinderella (Or known as The Glass Slipper) was foremost in my mind with a few funny twists that I think the reader will enjoy.
The relationship between the three characters is fairly different from currently socially acceptable romances, but I felt that it was an important story to tell. People falling in love, despite society's objections. They find a community in the BDSM world that holds them tight, and makes them feel accepted.
As I put the finishing touches on the story I'm proud of the world that I got to reveal, and look forward to entering it again for the rest of the series!
